The Long Island based rock band, 32 Pints, began working on their sound just over 7 years ago and the time and effort can be heard especially in their tight live show. Formed by Chris Prestamo, Jonathan Gargano, Jeremiah Titone and Peter Gargano, the band’s fun and unique sound is full of energy and emotion. Versatile best describes the band’s music: whether one song has a swinging verse with a powerful chorus, or another has an aggresive, guitar driven verse followed by catchy choruses, the band tries and succeeds to always keep listeners on their toes. Over the years the band has played many big name venues such as The Crazy Donkey (Farmingdale), The Sherman Theatre (Stroudsburg), The High Watt (Nashville), Revolution Music Hall (Amityville), 89 North (Patchogue), and Tremont Music Hall (Charlotte) each show growing more polished than the last. Becoming more comfortable on stage has provided for an explosive stage presence.
While Guitarist/Vocalist Chris Prestamo is the primary writer, each member is influential in the writing process. Though the band takes their music very seriously, they’ll never hesitate to make fun of themselves. This is best encompassed in the band’s former name “32 Pints of Apple Juice”, underwhich they released debut EP “From Here on Out” and debut full length “Colorful Trousers.”. The albums, both produced by Jon Graber, hold fun, vibrant songs and are available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and all of your favorite music download sites.
ith the addition of John Kelly on guitar in late 2013 the band dropped the apple juice and went in to work on their second EP. After 5 months of work they released “The Pints EP” on June 13th 2014 under their new moniker “32 Pints.”. This three track release holds brand new songs, each of which having a more mature, aggressive feel stylistically, while still maintaining the band’s past catchy sound. Produced and mixed by Michael Mazzotta, and mastered by the world renowned Scott Hull of Masterdisk, the EP has a life to it that far surpasses the band’s past releases. The band continues to write and has began work on a brand new full length record.
